From cameras to vinyl records, analogue tech is still loved by many. We ask locals why they think these old-school items still have value in our digital-first society.

00:00That one is a very good question and I think it is because people, they have sentimental
00:06values attached to it, their fathers, their parents, their grandfathers, they have memories
00:13of animals through these means by which they capture those memories, it's almost they can't
00:18let go of that, they want to relive that moment and really propel with the things that made
00:27them feel happy as kids.
00:29Animals, they're more tangible to people, they're more tactile, they can see how they
00:37work to a greater extent than just things online or hidden digitally, so I think that's
00:45why.

00:48Look, there's part of human behaviour that quite collects things and in the digital world
00:53you never really own anything, you don't know if it might disappear and you can't hold it,
00:57you can't share it in a tactile way.
