00:00An application designed to prevent all forms of abuse and violence in sport.
00:09This is Change The Game, the new app presented at the SNAE racetrack in Milan.
00:15After inaugurating the first free psychological support for victims of violence in the sports field
00:21at the University of La Sapienza in Rome last September,
00:24the SNAE Tech Foundation and the Change The Game Association continue their commitment
00:29with an innovative digital solution that this time takes them aside to the consortium Volley,
00:35a reference reality of Italian volleyball.
00:37SNAE Tech and the SNAE Tech Foundation embraced the Change The Game project
00:42because it is part of the respect of the values in which we believe.
00:47We have been doing sports for 120 years.
00:50For us, sport is made up of fundamental values,
00:53which are those of inclusion, solidarity, sacrifice in the team spirit
00:58and therefore any type of abuse, abuse or violence is perpetrated
01:03in the normal use of a sports activity for us to condemn
01:08and therefore welcome the initiatives that help in this sense to monitor and protect our athletes.
01:15Thanks to an intuitive, engaging interface and entertaining content,
01:19the app proposes itself as a useful tool to identify discomfort situations
01:23through games and informative material designed by professional experts
01:28to help young athletes recognize inappropriate behaviors and know their rights.
01:33It is an awareness prevention app to counteract any form of violence, abuse,
01:39or overreaction within the sports context,
01:42where we know that at least 4 children out of 10 in their young sports career
01:49have suffered at least one form of violence.
01:51To counteract violence and abuse, the support of sports associations is also important.
01:56We have had deregulations for years,
01:59we have a series of training courses for coaches,
02:03we have questionnaires for athletes,
02:05we have a very tight mode of observation through the athletes' managers,
02:09so we really do a lot of things.
02:12Since this year there is the safeguarder,
02:14but for us the safeguarder has been around for at least 7 or 8 years.
