00:00Good morning to all of us. This is our weather update for Thursday, March 27, 2025.
00:08We are now monitoring a low-pressure area inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:14This is the last passage on the 220-kilometer-east line of Surigao del Sur.
00:20At the moment, the chances of a good storm are still low.
00:24However, we expect that it will bring rain, especially here in Visayas and Mindanao.
00:31Meanwhile, we still have the easterlies or the hot and misty winds coming from the Pacific Ocean
00:37that is blowing here in the main Luzon.
00:39We expect that it will also bring hot weather.
00:45For our weather today, we will experience here in Luzon,
00:49a hot and misty afternoon to evening with isolated rain showers or quick rains
00:56followed by localized thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
01:09For Togigarau, we expect 24 to 35 degrees Celsius.
01:13Baguio, 17 to 26 degrees Celsius.
01:16Tagaspe, 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.
01:19And Tagaytay, 22 to 33 degrees Celsius.
01:24For Visayas and Northern Mindanao, Caraga and Davao region,
01:29we expect that they will experience a heavy downpour with heavy rains
01:35following this low-pressure area inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
01:40For the next few days, we expect that it will bring rain, especially here in Visayas
01:46and it is also possible that it will bring rain here in Palawan.
01:52For Calayaan Islands and Puerto Princesa, 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
01:57Iloilo, 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:00For Cebu, we expect 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:04Tacloban, 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:07In Cagayan de Oro, 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:10In Zamboanga and Davao, 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
02:16For our heat index yesterday, in Metro Manila, we recorded 36 to 39 degrees Celsius.
02:23And the highest we recorded was here in Dagupan City, Pangasinan with 46 degrees Celsius.
02:2944 degrees Celsius here in Togigarau City, Cagayan.
02:3443 here in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte.
02:37And 42 degrees Celsius here in Legazpi, Albay, Biracat, Anduanes, and Pili, Camarines Sur.
02:44For our forecast for today's heat index, in Metro Manila, we expect 37 to 38 degrees Celsius.
02:51And the highest we can record is still here in Dagupan City, Pangasinan with 47 degrees Celsius.
03:0043 degrees Celsius here in Togigarau City, Cagayan.
03:03Biracat, Anduanes. Pili, Camarines Sur. Butuan City, Agusan del Norte.
03:08And 42 degrees Celsius here in Legazpi, Albay.
03:11So we can see that this is a danger level.
03:13So our fellow countrymen, just be careful because of the heat of our time.
03:18Drink plenty of water and stay indoors if possible when it comes to the afternoon or afternoon.
