00:00Hello, my name is Luke Patrick. I'm a reporter for the Blackpool Gazette. I've just got back
00:28from my first visits in the Sea Life Centre here in Blackpool and it was an incredible
00:32experience. Seeing that much wildlife right up close was amazing and my favourite part
00:37was the underwater tunnel that you can walk through. It was a bit nerve-wracking because
00:41it's the closest I've ever been to a shark because they were swimming right above my
00:45head. It was a bit of a surreal experience but I was so excited to go and I wasn't disappointed
00:50and I absolutely loved it.
01:20Now lastly, what this means for them is actually that it gives them their colour. That love
01:31for green is why they are a green sea turtle. If you were to look at them as a baby, they're
01:35a soft brown. That green doesn't come from their body, it comes from their diet. Dyeing
01:40their fat green underneath their skin. That's like if we ate so many carrots, we were orange.
01:47Imagine how much we have to feed them every single day, not only for them to be as big
01:51as they are, but for them to be green as well. So finally, as we slowly come to the end,
01:57there's most of our sharks have taken all of their fish and of course they're not going
02:00anywhere. There's lots of things that I haven't been able to talk about, mostly these animals
02:04in detail, so of course if you want to know anything before leaving, please do let me
02:08know. They're lapsing and lapsing.
