00:00Questions?
00:01Yeah.
00:02When the Democrats were back in their districts last week, were constituents supportive of
00:03the votes that you took on government funding a week and a half or so ago?
00:14When we were back in our districts, I want to thank the Democratic Policy and Communications
00:19Group.
00:20We also participated, all of us, in Medicaid Day of Actions, having roundtables, discussion,
00:26press conferences surrounding the $880 billion that House Republicans want to take from Medicaid.
00:33We overwhelmingly heard from our constituents the need to protect health care back home.
00:40With respect to the CR vote, we heard lots of support for our actions.
00:48Our constituents, my constituents, understand the difficulties that the Trump administration
00:53poses, how they want to gut programs that help people.
00:58And blessing that by voting for a CR didn't seem like the right approach.
