00:03nine billion pounds money that it's going to spend on a Thames Tunnel?

00:08I'd like to see Sheffield better linked up with Leeds and Manchester and Hull and some of the

00:12east-west so across Sheffield it would be good if people's transport worked

00:17well so that they could get to the hubs so that they could then get out to jobs

00:21from the city centre and outward.

00:23Are there any particular projects you'd like to see to do those?

00:26I think the trams could be upped a lot, the tram's great.

00:31I think for our area in Sheffield I'd like to see an extension of the tram

00:37service to reach further into the broader Sheffield estates.

00:43Anywhere in particular that you'd like it to go?

00:45I think probably further north up towards the sort of

00:51Grennanside area, Ecclesfield area, capturing that and then probably further

00:58out to capture Dromfield.

01:03What do you think of them spending another nine billion pounds near London?

01:07Not surprising and it'll probably cost fifteen billion by the time they do it.

01:13On potholes and the bus service, the infrastructure of the buses, making the

01:20buses more accessible to places like Stannington and the outer parts of the

01:28city and also everywhere really, so I would say potholes and the buses.

01:34I'd like them to spend it on more buses, more efficient buses and more rural buses

01:39around Sheffield area. Unfortunately you tend to find that all the money does

01:45tend to go down London. Always has done and I suspect it always will do, but you

01:52know we live in hopes that the bus service in Sheffield will improve. I'm

01:57not complaining about it at the moment, but as time goes on you know and people

02:02get older they need more services, you know, more efficient services.

02:09I think they should sort out our public transport, make buses free. I think trams

02:15should be free. We need to get cars off the road and we need to encourage more

02:19cycling and I know not everybody agrees with that, but I think we could use that

02:24money quite well here.

02:27The bus scheme, the bus transportation is what I would prefer.

02:33So sort the buses out in Sheffield?

02:37Yeah, the buses, yeah.

02:40What's been your experience of the buses?

02:42It's been good, but I think we need more buses in Sheffield because if we have

02:48more of them then they can go to all the areas because some areas in Sheffield

02:54don't have enough buses.
