00:00Do I have a message for the president?
00:02I thought you moved out of this town.
00:04Why are you coming here again?
00:06Please stay away.
00:07I'm actually here with my father on my heart
00:09who served in World War II.
00:13He was a lifelong Republican, registered Republican.
00:16The only Democrat he ever voted for was FDR.
00:21But if he saw that this man was president
00:24and what he's been doing
00:26and how he's representing
00:28or seeming to represent veterans
00:30and would have been my father
00:32who died a few years ago here today
00:34he'd be ashamed and outraged
00:36and he'd be glad that I was here.
00:38I helped organize this protest
00:40so affecting me personally I'm very happy
00:42because it's turned out really well.
00:44We have a really great turnout.
00:46We have a lot of veterans here with us today.
00:48We have a lot of Republicans here with us today.
00:50And given the president's
00:52not only so many things that are going on
00:54in his betrayal of the Constitution
00:56and the betrayal of the United States
00:58but his betrayal of the uniform
01:01that's mainly what it is today.
01:03And we love the vets
01:05and we want to see him out of this country.
01:07A man that has four deferments
01:09for fake bone spurs
01:11who referred to his sex life
01:13as like being in Vietnam
01:15and that he survived.
01:17Who denigrated John McCain's service
01:20and his sacrifice
01:22being tortured.
01:24Who shot down
01:26Gold Star veterans.
01:28It's an unbelievable crime.
01:30So we believe that veterans
01:32defend democracy.
01:34And that's what we're here today doing
01:36is defending democracy.
