00:00What other children are going through right now, the migrant children are going through,
00:03is something that I went through. I was torn away from my parents. So I know how they feel.
00:22I know that feeling inside of wanting your parents and crying for them
00:26and knowing there's nothing that they can do because
00:29the people that are meant to protect you are separating you from them.
00:48So my ordeal happened in 2005 and now we're in 2018 and how we deal with immigrants
00:54and Muslims the same. We've made them the enemy and the fear and the problem.
01:08You have rights and take advantage of those. Don't let them think that they're in power
01:14and that they can do whatever they want. We have to hold them accountable and say,
01:18hey, that's not legal. I can't protect them too much. Unfortunately, they don't have to worry
01:27about being undocumented, but they have to worry about being black, worried about being half Latino.
01:33They have to worry about if they decide to be Muslims, they have to worry about being a Muslim
01:37in America. They're American citizens. I have to teach them how to deal with this administration
01:43to come.
