Residents have reacted to the news that their local Morrisons Daily is one of the stores that is set to close.

00:00So we're outside Morrison's Daily on Creslet Road. It's one of the dozens of stores across
00:05the country that's being closed. Morrison says that they're spending more money running
00:10the cafes and small businesses than they are making. Around 365 jobs are at risk of redundancy.
00:18Some staff members might be relocated to other parts of the business, it's believed so far.
00:22But we're going to speak to some customers and see how they feel about the move.
00:26It's really sad it's come out of nowhere. I don't know where we're going to go but to
00:30the young children. So to come across and grab some milk or some biscuits for the kids
00:34is really convenient. So I feel really sorry for all the job losses it's caused.
00:40It's the convenience and it's the people that you go in and see they're serving you every time.
00:46Do you think that they'll replace it? Is that what you're hoping?
00:50Well we're just waiting to find out. I've spoken to some of the ladies that work there
00:55and they don't even know. So I'm hoping it'll be another store but we honestly don't know.
01:02We need somewhere to go. So we'll see.
01:07Well it feels like there's really not that many places to go around here at all.
01:12And this is the second place I've come today because I'm giving advice to everybody
01:17and it's gone pretty good. So it's a bit of a nightmare really.

01:25Do you ever use the shop to come and get milk or eggs or any necessities?
01:30Yeah, I really like Morrison's.

01:45So it's a bit of a drive away for big shops which is not true.

02:04How will it affect you at closing?
02:07To be honest, it's the only shop in this area that we need to eat.
02:13So if we don't want to eat from here, we need more healthy food.
02:18We need coffee, we need water.
02:23So it would be a little bit not very nice to close.
02:28Do you think it will make your lives more difficult?
02:30Yes, because we will have to buy all the things from other shops.
02:34So this one is very nice in here because it's having also the post office.
02:38So it's very easy for us in this area.
02:41If not, we will have to go to King's Landing.
02:44You'd have to drive there, wouldn't you?
02:46And how about the people that work there?
02:48I'm sure you've built up a good friendship with them.
02:50Yes, and it will be very bad for them because they will lose their job.
02:54So it's not very nice for everyone to lose their job.
02:58We need on these times a salary.
03:04If there's something that will be replaced, what do you hope?
03:10To be another shop.
03:12Because we have a big shop, but we need a shop in here.
03:15But we have clients, so it's not very nice for us and also for the community in here.
