Central Visayas unaffected by transport strike
The ongoing national transport strike, led by Manibela, has not disrupted operations in Central Visayas on March 25, 2025, says Edwin Antepuesto, Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Central Visayas acting chief transportation development officer. He said that although the Pinagkaisang Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operator Nationwide Cebu, a local chapter of the national transport group joined the strike, public transportation remained unaffected. Authorities have also prepared contingency measures, including deploying buses if necessary.
