Leading Taipei-based think tank the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research (TIER) says the country should still be able to hit its forecasted 3% growth rate for the year, despite looming U.S. tariffs. U.S. President Donald Trump is set to unveil his closely watched reciprocal tariff policy against countries that run a trade surplus with the U.S., which includes Taiwan.
