00:00What was your relationship with the games beforehand?
00:03I had watched the cinematic compilation of all the cutscenes in one go years ago.
00:11I just had a habit of doing that for games I didn't play.
00:15Star Wars has great cinematic cutscenes in Force Unleashed and whatnot.
00:20And then I watched the first season. I was blown away.
00:24I didn't realize there was a character for me to play in the second season or the second game.
00:29And then when the meeting came up to meet with Craig and Neil,
00:34I bought a used PS4 from GameStop and I played through the game until a very particular moment.
00:42And then I stopped playing the game.
00:45Because there was no... yeah.
00:48Yeah.
00:49And what was that first day on set like for you?
00:53I wasn't feeling too nervous until I step into the set and it's a massive, full-scale Jackson community.
01:03The gates. When I saw the gates, I started to get a little rush of adrenaline.
01:08Because the gates are huge. They aren't CGI.
01:12They're actual wooden beams stapled together, however you make them.
01:19It felt like Helm's Deep. It felt like the two towers.
01:24Yeah, I was in awe of the set and the sheer scale of it.
01:30Yeah, that was a first-time experience.
01:33A lot of new cast members this season. How did Pedro and Bella welcome you all into the group?
01:39Pedro gave a warm, tender hug.
01:42At the time, his shoulder was all messed up, so I had to be gentle.
01:47But it was warm.
01:48And Bella and I went on a tiny seaplane and experienced the craziest turbulence for about 30 minutes.
01:57And I remember thinking, this would be a crazy way for me to die, prepping for the show with Bella.
02:06That would have been quite a story.
02:09And this show can be very dark and grueling. How did you get in and out of that mindset?

02:39What really helped was having people like Bella, Gabriel, Isabella.
