00:00Our overseas Filipino workers, or OFWs, who are victims of human trafficking in Myanmar have arrived in the Philippines.

00:14The Department of Migrant Workers and the Department of Foreign Affairs was the first to greet the first batch of Filipinos who are victims of human trafficking in Myanmar.

00:22Three dozen Filipinos arrived safely at 3 a.m. this morning on a commercial flight from Thailand

00:29where they were temporarily detained after being rescued from the scam hubs in Myanmar.

00:34The situation of the victims was severe even though they were rescued from the scam hubs.

00:39That's the number one challenge for many others.

00:41Not all of them can go at the same time because it's just a river.

00:45And Thailand won't process it right away.

00:47Another thing is that Mae Sot is far from Bangkok.

00:51Mae Sot, the border town of Thailand, is about an eight-hour drive to Bangkok.

00:56According to the DMW, the test of the Filipinos in the scam hubs was not easy.

01:02There is a lot of work and quota systems that if they are not caught, they will face severe torture.

01:09Various scamming activities are also being done here, such as lab scams and cryptocurrency scams.

01:14The government is reminding the people of the red flags that must be remembered.

02:15The authorities are now continuing to recruit Filipino victims to Myanmar.
