00:00And at this point, we will discuss the update on the programs of the current administration here in Mr. President on the go.

00:21First of all, my fellow countrymen, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. led the inspection of the ongoing construction of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway or HALACS Governor's Drive Interchange.

00:34This is an important project that aims to reduce congestion and improve connectivity in the region.

00:43The interchange is 44% complete and it is expected to be operational in the third quarter of 2025.

00:51According to the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation or MPTC, it operates on the expressway.

00:57When it is completed, the subsection 3 connected to the Silang Interchange will be the longest operational segment of the HALACS.

01:06According to DPWH Secretary Bonoan, the road right-of-way acquisition in the Laguna Segment has been completed.

01:14And currently, the road right-of-way acquisition in the Cavite Segment is being accelerated to 90.71%.

01:21As part of the operational segments of the HALACS, the access points in Mamplasan, Laguna Boulevard, Laguna Technopark, Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road, Silang East, and Silang Aguinaldo are included.

01:35MPTC also operates the main toll roads, including the North Luzon Expressway and Subiclark-Tarlac Expressway.

01:44Currently, the completed construction and the operational of the four interchanges and one toll barrier in Laguna and Cavite have reached 17.4 kilometers.

01:55The HALACS currently serves more than 45,000 vehicles per day and it is expected to increase to 90,000 hours.

02:05The remaining sections will be completed.

02:07As part of the inspections, Department of the Interior and Local Government Secretary John Vicromulia,

02:14DPWH Honorary Secretary Maria Catalina Cabral,

02:18DPWH Public-Private Partnership Service Director Pelita Galvez,

02:22and Cavite Governor Altea Tolengino,

02:25Cavite 6th District Representative Antonio Ferrer,

02:27General Trias, Mayor Luis John John Ferrer IV,

02:30and Metro Pacific Tollway South Officer in Charge Elnora Romawa.
