00:00I probably could have played you like seven different clips from Dan Hurley today.
00:04There was some of him being emotional, there was that other clip of him barking, coming

00:09I mean, this guy was stressed out, Scotty, but I thought this one was the best one because
00:15he almost makes it sound like all that winning he's done the last two years, he's kind of
00:20glad that he didn't this year, like he needs a break.
00:22Here's Coach Hurley.
00:24You just get caught up in this tidal wave of success that we've had and, you know, you
00:30just lose perspective.
00:35You struggle with the ego at times because you've been on this incredible run.
00:41So it'll be nice to get to a normal offseason and just get back to, you know, myself as
00:50a coach and not have to throw out first pitches.
00:54You should only be ringing stock market bells and throwing out first pitches when you win
00:59the major championship.
01:00So I won't have to do things like that.
01:03I'll be able to just kind of focus on the upcoming season, make better decisions with
01:08all aspects of coaching.
01:10So I played with a kid who played for his dad.
01:13I played with a kid that, I played with a guy that played for his dad, several of them,
01:17and I always ask him, what was it like?
01:18And he said he was crazy and it was awful and it was the worst experience of my life.
01:25And it also made me the man I am today.
