00:00Gotta keep it real here, not a lot of close games, especially Thursday and Friday.
00:04It was basically like you turn a game on, it's closed for about five minutes, and most
00:09of the teams ended up covering the spread.
00:11So Auburn beats Creighton, 82 to 70, Houston beats Gonzaga, 81 to 76, yes, a close game,
00:18kind of right on the number where it was.
00:20But I would ask you, did either Auburn or Houston impress you to the point that you
00:25think that they can continue to make a run toward the Final Four?
00:28We'll start with them.
00:29You know what, Houston more so than Auburn.
00:31Auburn was tested a little bit during the tournament in the first weekend, and showed
00:36a few flaws.
00:37They closed the season out losing, I think, three of their last four games.
00:40And obviously they play in a tough SEC, which there's no night off, and you're going to
00:44lose games, especially as a team like that.
00:46But I was a little surprised that they were the number one overall seed still after not
00:50winning their conference tournament.
00:51So I think they showed some flaws.
00:53Can they work through those things?
00:54They're dealing with some injury woes as well.
00:56So will Chad Baker Mazar stay on the floor?
00:58There were some cramping issues down the stretch in those games as well.
01:01So if there's foul trouble, if there's injuries, I think they could be a little vulnerable.
01:04I'm really impressed with Houston.
01:06They have a style.
01:07They stick to it.
01:08They are very physical.
01:09They play defensively, and they make plays.
01:10So I'm not so concerned about Houston.
01:12They were tested.
01:13I think that will help them in the long run.
01:14But I got my eye on Auburn.
