00:21and she didn't understand what it was for.
00:22And I said, oh, that's the TV show I'm doing.
00:25And she goes, are you their idol?
00:26I went, no, no, it's just the TV.
00:28She goes, you're not my idol.
00:30I said, who's your idol?
00:32She said, BTS, which is a Korean band or something.
00:35Oh, yeah, no, they're big.
00:36Yeah, so it's Olivia Rodrigo now.
00:39I took her to Olivia Rodrigo.
00:40Oh, good dad award right there.
00:42Totally, and she's Filipino heritage, too.
00:44And my daughter grew up in the Philippines,
00:46so she always says, have you texted Olivia yet?
00:49Tell her that I grew up in the Philippines.

00:57she doesn't think I'm anything at all.

01:17the story Olivia Rodrigo was spreading out,

01:21And my daughter and her went solo,
01:24and yeah, she didn't want to go
01:26because I bought her tickets for her birthday,
01:28and then later on, she's like,
01:29Papa, I don't want to go because she swears.
01:32And I said, well, we can leave if it gets too bad.
01:36But she has a section where kids under 15,
01:40she has a concert for under 15s and a concert for over.
01:42That's awesome.
01:43That's so smart.
01:44So recently you were diagnosed with melanoma.
01:47What was your story to finding out
01:48that you had skin cancer?
01:50I had a spot which has been there for probably,
01:54I would say, close to a decade.
01:56And it's something I'm not worried about.
01:57I've gone to have it checked.
01:58It was fine.
02:00And last year, my instincts just told me
02:04there's something wrong.
02:05It's changed color.
02:07And I went and got it looked at in Bali twice.
02:12Both doctors said, no, don't go anywhere.
02:14It's got to be cut out.
02:15I'm like, is it that bad?
02:17And I got it cut out.
02:19Then I had to go to a pathologist
02:20and the doctor went on holidays for Christmas.
02:22Oh, great.
02:24And you're like, hello, do I have skin cancer?
02:26He said, I'll ring you as soon as I get it.
02:28And even him saying that on his holiday
02:29made me think, how bad is this?
02:31And it's not until Christmas Eve he called me
02:33and said, look, the findings are down to its minimum.
02:36We have to go for one more excision,
02:40take more skin out, but it should be right after that.
02:43So I got a nice big scar for it.
02:45But wow, that really taught me how naive I've been.
02:48So my awareness is huge now, especially in my industry.
02:51And now this new season, switching gears a little bit,
02:55you're off the coast of Africa in the Seychelles.
02:57How was that experience?
02:58Look, I gave up a great job many years ago
03:02to be more remote and do off the beaten track things.
03:07Papua New Guinea, Indonesia,
03:09ended up in Australia during COVID.
03:10Then this show came about season one.
03:13So we've done all we can in Australia
03:16with the logistics that are required for the show.
03:18So to actually move it to such a remote location in Africa,
03:21and look, I love the underwater,
03:23so the diving there was fantastic.
03:25It was an easy sell for guests.
03:27Yeah, it was.
03:28Let's go to Seychelles, righto, let's go.
03:30Well, I heard that your relationship status
03:33at the moment is single.
