00:00Farmers are benefitting from the various schemes of the Central Government and the Gujarat Government.
00:06In Banaskatha, Gujarat, farmers are farming under the PM Kusum scheme of the Central Government through solar panels.
00:14The farmers of Banaskatha are also using solar panels as a source of energy for Bacchu Bhai.
00:19Bacchu Bhai had to divert water at night due to irregular electricity supply.
00:25When he came to know about the PM Kusum scheme, he applied online.
00:30And within just three months, his solar pump started working.
00:55We have 31 solar pumps in our village.
01:00We have 5 solar pumps in our village.
01:02We have 16 solar pumps in our village.
01:06We can start the solar system from 8 to 10 in the morning.
01:12We can do farming.
01:15We can take all the agricultural products in our village.
01:19We can grow cows, maize, millet.
01:22We can do all the farming.
01:25We have taken all the resources.
01:27Modi sir has helped us a lot.
01:30The biggest benefit for the farmers is that the electricity bill, which used to be thousands of rupees, has now become zero.
01:38PM Kusum scheme, which has been implemented by Prime Minister Modi,
01:45In Gujarat, there are very small and poor farmers.
01:52They cannot even pay the electricity bill.
01:57Under the Kusum scheme, they have installed solar panels so that they can do their farming.
02:08And they are doing it very well.
02:10They have installed more than 116 solar panels.
02:13And they have installed more than 30 solar panels in one village.
02:17And their income has increased.
02:21They are buying all three parks.
02:24They are doing their farming in Srijala, Chaumasa and Unala.
02:30So this scheme has been very beneficial.
02:33The government has given more than 4.5 lakh rupees to each farmer.
02:37Not to the farmers, but to the solar pump set.
02:42So the government has paid the entire amount for the farmers.
02:46And this is a very blessing-worthy campaign.
02:48The farmers are feeling it.
02:50And if this campaign continues, all the poor farmers will be able to do their farming well.
02:57What will you say to Modi sir?
02:58Modi sir is very grateful.
03:01Modi sir is working for the farmers.
03:04And if our country continues to be a farmer-prided country, it will definitely be.
03:11There are a total of 116 villages in Banaskatha district.
03:14Out of which, 4,17,000 rupees are spent on solar in 30 villages.
03:19But after spending this money, the farmers can do their farming in winter, summer and rain.
03:25There are a total of 116 villages in Datta Taluka.
03:29In the villages where there is no electricity, PM, Prime Minister, Solar Yojana Hithal,
03:36a total of 300 customers have a new connection.
03:41In which customers do not have to spend a single rupee.
03:45All the expenses from the Prime Minister,
03:49for one connection, 3,17,000 rupees have to be made.
03:57In that, customers do not have to pay a single rupee.
04:00By installing this electricity, customers have benefited so much,
04:04that they can use it all day from 8 in the morning to 6 in the evening.
04:10In that, customers do not even have to pay a bill.
04:14Customers had to pay 5,000 to 7,000 bills every month.
04:19They have become free from that.
04:21The benefit for the farmers is that,
04:24there is a forest land here,
04:27whose name is in the 7th section, but it is restricted.
04:30At that place, the forest department cannot come out.
04:36So, if it is a forest land, they can install a solar pump there.
04:41So, there is no question of pulling out the line.
04:44So, customers can install solar here without pulling out the line,
04:51and generate electricity.
04:53They do not have to spend a single rupee.
04:57And it can be farmed from there.
05:00PM Kusum Yojana, like Banas Katha,
05:03is upgrading the techniques for the farmers living in different parts of the country,
05:08and opening new ways for their development.
