Oregon Ducks' Marcus Harper II A NFL Draft Sleeper
Transcript
00:00Because over the last part of the season, I mean, you were out with an injury for a little bit,
00:04but I remember Dan Lanning had a quote where he was like, Marcus is upping his physicality game.
00:10There was an interview I was reading about you where you were like, I can't play at 315,
00:13but 306, 307, that's my comfy area because you specialize in speed.
00:18Are you really emphasizing speed when it comes to your draft preparation workouts?
00:23Absolutely. I mean, I even put on a little bit more matches to show that like,
00:26even if you needed me to play at 310, I could still dominate in the fashion that I know
00:30I wanted to dominate in at that weight. Understanding what I was coming back to
00:36from our fifth year, I had to make sure I was durable for the long haul because I knew we
00:39were going into something new and different. And I didn't want to be like everybody else.
00:42I know everyone else was going to be around that same ballpark at 315, but I knew if I added a
00:46different twist at 306, 307, company bit why going against some of these premier defense alignment
00:52in the big 10 where it's known for the trenches, they weren't going to get adjusted. They weren't
00:57going to know how to operate against someone that's 307. You think that you could play the
01:00bully ball card and kind of go against me, but I'm very strong for it at 306, 307.
01:06And so now being able to show you like, okay, I can be 310, 311, and I can still move at the
01:10fastest and whatever you need me to do, I'm going to do it. And I'm going to do it in a dominant
01:12fashion. Period. You love to hear it. And I also wanted to ask,
