00:00This time I tried to make the world's hardest treasure hunt and said that if anyone could solve it, I would paint them a massive portrait of themselves
00:05in which I had secretly hidden $788 worth of Chili's gift cards in the back
00:09and I got absolutely annihilated by the world's smartest 19-year-old, a kid named Andy.
00:13In the treasure hunt, there was three challenges. The first challenge was just a bunch of ones and zeros
00:17and it wasn't binary, it was actually a Morse code substitution cipher and it just gave you a bunch of random letters
00:21but then at the bottom it said, if you need a hint, here it is, E2 Brute
00:24and E2 Brute was the last thing that Caesar said before Brutus stabbed him
00:28and so it was a Caesar cipher and a Caesar cipher is an alphabetical shifting cipher
00:32and so if you take all those letters and you shift them for you to the right, there's a secret passphrase
00:36which is, look at all those chickens from Vine.
00:40Andy solved the first challenge in 19 minutes
00:43and so I realized I needed to make the second challenge way harder because Andy was way smarter than I thought
00:47and so I made an audio file which sounded like gibberish
00:52but if you reversed it, it was a language from the Philippines called Tagalog.
00:56It translated to, this fish swims in the ocean, it swims in a large group,
00:59it is the color of the Russian submarine whose captain is from Scotland.
01:01Two words, the first word has three letters, the second word has seven letters
01:05and Andy does not speak Tagalog but he was in an airport at the time
01:08and he went around to 70 different people and just asked people, does anyone know this language?
01:13until he found out eventually that it was a red herring and the actual clue was hidden deeper within the audio file
01:18and you can embed images in audio files and Andy did a spectrograph analysis
01:22and found that it said password, fresh avocado.
01:24Get some Del Taco, they got a new thing called free shavacado.
01:29But I didn't say where that went and so eventually he found secret password protected part of my website
01:34which he typed it in and it brought him to a blank page but it wasn't actually blank,
01:38there was a secret white square hidden within which he downloaded as a PNG, brought into Photoshop
01:42and then played with the levels, figured out that there was a secret phrase that said your password is
01:46I could have dropped my croissant.
01:47Stop, I could have dropped my croissant.
01:50And he solved the second challenge in two hours.
01:54I was so disappointed in myself.
01:55So for the final challenge, I really needed to step up my game.
01:57So I made these six tiles that had these discolored sections on them
02:00and if you brought all the discolored sections and rotated them, it turned into Obi-Wan Kenobi
02:04where he says these are not the droids you're looking for so that was another red herring.
02:07The actual clue was these discolored sections here
02:09and if you brought it in the third dimension and then made a cube
02:11and then extruded shapes through the discolored section from both sides
02:14and then you rotated the cube, it turned into the Vine logo
02:17and I didn't say where that went but he went on my Reddit
02:19and found that I had commented in a subreddit from three months ago.
02:22He messaged the mods with the password and then became a moderator
02:24and once you're a moderator, you can see deleted posts
02:26and there was three challenges.
02:27Number one, do a belly flop.
02:28Number two, sit down and take a picture where you look like a sad king.
02:31And number three, make a half-court basketball shot.
02:34And he made it! He did all those!
02:36And he solved the final challenge in like four hours.
02:38And so I painted him this big portrait of himself and it said
02:41and he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer which is a line from Alexander the Great
02:45and I took the $788 for the tequila skip cards and hid it in the back.
