01:07Born in 1949, Foreman first gained national attention after winning an Olympic gold medal
01:12in boxing at age 19 at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City.
01:17The next year, he went pro, and in 1973, he fought against Joe Frazier for the world heavyweight
01:22championship title, which he won by a total knockout.
01:26He kept that title until 1974, when he lost it to Muhammad Ali.
01:32After he retired, he launched a business, the George Foreman Grill, and appeared on
01:35the Masked Singer in 2022.
01:38He is now survived by 11 of his 12 children and his wife, Mary Joan Martley.
