00:10our social media pages yesterday regarding the involvement of one of our franchisees
00:16in the area of DAPTO of New South Wales. We thought now is probably a good time to take
00:21a moment and sit in front of you and sit with you and give an outline on where we are up
00:26to now and moving forward on this situation as well. Please excuse us reading our notes,
00:32it's been a crazy 24 hours and we just want to make sure we have everything documented
00:36down so we can convey our information across to you correctly. Please from the outset know
00:41first and foremost that the footage that came through to us from the owners yesterday morning
00:48not only angered us but sickened us to the stomach and we were just shocked that someone
00:58could do that to a dog, let alone someone in our business. We, like the rest of the
01:06people, we're sorry this has happened to the pets. This person's actions by no means reflect
01:15our values personally, the values of our business, the values of our franchisees and the values
01:21of the broader grooming community not only across Australia but across many nations.
01:27As we said, the person was stood down immediately. We're dealing and meeting with our legal team
01:33first thing Monday morning to ensure that this situation is finalised with this person
01:39as quickly as we can on Monday morning. I was just going to add we have franchisees
01:44in the Illawarra area who are actually quite scared for their wellbeing at the moment.
01:50This has nothing to do with them. Yeah, 100% Megs. Unfortunately, we have two
01:56nearby franchisees in Shell Harbour which are being accused, wrongly accused by many
02:02people of the Shell Harbour area and even with threats of violence. We are very concerned
02:10for their welfare obviously, so please, we ask people, particularly in the Wollongong
02:17Shell Harbour area of New South Wales, just let the authorities do their job on this at the moment.
