Sheffield half marathon 2025 gets underway at Arundel Gate

00:00Marathon 2025, good luck to all of you and we'll be here when you get back. Good luck everybody!
00:12Well today it's the Sheffield Half Marathon and as you'll see behind me they're all very ready
00:17to start. There are hundreds of people taking part this year and the course is going to take
00:23them out from here at Arundel Gate over 13.1 mile distance, taking them out along towards
00:31Ringinglow, up towards the Norfolk Arms, back down to Tor and back into Sheffield
00:37along Ecclesore Road before returning here with the fastest of the runners expected to take just
00:43over an hour.
