The CBI investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput's death, initially triggered by an FIR filed in Patna, has concluded. The probe covered various angles including abetment to suicide and misappropriation of funds.

00:48have any kind of investigation or investigation into any kind of foul play, Mumbai police
00:55had been saying that it is a case of suicide but we will investigate if there has been
01:02an abetment to suicide.
01:04So they investigated film directors, they investigated film makers, be it Karan Johar
01:10company, be it Sanjay Leela Bansali, be it Aditya Chopra, Mahesh Bhatt, everyone was
01:15questioned, their statements were recorded and Karan Johar's, his company Dharma Productions
01:22CEO also recorded his statement, Mahesh Bhatt recorded, Aditya Chopra recorded, Sanjay Leela
01:28Bansali recorded his statement and there were several others who recorded their statement
01:33but it was only being investigated on the lines of abetment to suicide, if there was
01:38an abetment to suicide and that section was put in the Patna FIR, so there was never any
01:45kind of suspicion regarding the suicide from the family's side as well because in the FIR
01:51it says abetment to suicide, in the FIR it says abetment to suicide that means they knew
02:00that it was a case of suicide but what, through Sushant Singh to suicide, that is what they
02:06suspected but there was no foul play that was suspected whether someone has murdered
02:11him or whether he has been killed or there is any other kind of foul play but they suspected
02:17there could be an abetment angle which led Sushant Singh to suicide. Now the case with
02:24CBI was of misappropriation of funds, abetment to suicide and various other sections, cheating,
02:30forgery and various other sections and on those lines they recorded, they again recorded
02:37multiple statements of filmmakers, multiple statements of staffers of Sushant Singh Rajput,
02:41people known to Sushant Singh Rajput, friends of Sushant Singh Rajput, relatives of Sushant
02:47Singh Rajput and of course Priya Chakraborty and her brother, in fact her parents were also under
02:55investigation.
