00:00Hey, I'm Hayden Fletcher. I'm originally from Mount Voola, Victoria. I travel Australia
00:04coaching kids and racing BMX. I travel to different tracks around Australia
00:15helping local communities build the skills needed to be able to get around
00:20these technical tracks. I work with kids as young as three years old up to 60
00:25plus. It's very challenging working with all these ages and being able to
00:30communicate with people of all different backgrounds. However, I do love the
00:35challenge. I love meeting new people.
00:42I've been racing since I was four years old. Ever since I was young I was just
00:47addicted to riding my bike. Even before I could really walk properly I was on
00:52one of those little balance bikes, yeah, running amok.
00:58Yeah, so I love the Launceston track. I actually led the elite national final
01:03from the start all the way to the last corner until I was passed back in 2012.
01:07Sorry, 2022. The following day I ended up crashing and completely ruining my
01:14shoulder and visiting the local hospital for a few days. But I still love coming
01:19back here. The track's super challenging and it's a great facility. I'd love to
01:23see it grow even more over the next couple years.
