00:00that one of the hottest names going into the baseball season and maybe one of the reasons
00:04why the Braves didn't necessarily replace Morton or Freed is because of this kid's performance last
00:09season and it has carried right over into the regular into the spring training season excuse me
00:14Spencer Schwellenbach 18 innings in the spring 26 tryouts two walks 2.41 earned run average
00:23maybe the fastest rising or an average draft position during the fantasy baseball draft
00:30season went from someone in a 12 team league that you were like all right Schwellenbach could be my
00:35four no problem now you'd be lucky to get him as your three George I mean this guy has looked
00:41fantastic he was good last year all right I know he helped me a bunch last year on my fantasy team
00:47so uh I was he was on my certainly on my list stuff for this season and you're right he's
00:52climbing all right he's climbing because he's pitching so well here the brain is gonna be a
00:56problem for people right uh you got sale Schwellenbach Lopez Strider now looks like he can
01:01be back in three weeks all right not in May maybe mid-April here so he's being drafted much higher
01:07than uh we expected because you're gonna get him back earlier and he looks great too then he
01:11struck out six batters and found two innings the other day against Boston so he looks good as well
01:16AJ Smith-Shaw also looks good so the Atlanta Braves look dangerous they just look dangerous
01:21they keep finding pitching here but yeah Schwellenbach is one of those guys where
01:25you know honestly I'm not gonna say you can uh he's gonna be that anchor of your team but he's
01:30real getting real close to that you know and where he could be if you've got a four because you
01:34drafted early and mark you have a green ear to ear right now because things are working out
01:38fantastic for you yes I'm on board with Schwellenbach. All right Logan Allen in the Cleveland pitching
01:44factory is going to get another shot to stick in the Cleveland rotation this season he has been
01:48lights out as well 1.89 on average in 19 innings if you may remember the story on Logan Allen it
01:55was him being fantastic with Cleveland two years ago him being the hot name this time last year
02:02and then George not really performing in the way that they thought so I guess the question is is
02:07now the time that he sort of delivers on that promise because he took a step back last year
02:13maybe he's figured it out this year he's only 26 years old so I don't think we should nail you
02:18know nail too much what happened last year he plays in a very good pitches park in Cleveland
02:23all right uh you said they are sort of a pitching factory here they do they develop pitches you think
02:27of uh Tanner Bibby uh Gavin Williams uh I know what's his guy I'm on this year by the way more
02:33than Logan Allen you know the guy who struggled last year coming back from injury that he's had
02:36a good spring here I like what he can do Ben Lively's there as well so am I willing to give
02:41Allen another shot sure I'm probably a little nervous because he was on a team or two of mine
02:46last year and he spit the bit didn't work out well for me at all I don't want to give up on him I
02:50said I do like where he's pitching uh I do worry if you're looking for wins can be tough to come
02:54by there that offense outside of Jose Ramirez isn't there they're not going to score all that
02:58mom and he runs here but he's he's a guy I don't mind having at the back end of my rotation or
03:02maybe once again our reserve pitcher for you we're going to need them so uh I have my trepidations
03:07little worried but I'm not afraid of having them on my roster
