00:00We caught one of the wanted hitmen in Calabazon.

00:05The suspect who fired a grenade, was shot dead by the police.

00:17Calabazon Police immediately surrounded this house in Calamban, Laguna

00:21to serve as the 4th wire of arrest on their target, a gun for hire.

00:26There's a kid, a kid!

00:34Upon entering the house, a kid had to be taken out of the room.

00:39Later on, the police were surprised to see a grenade being thrown at them.

00:46Grenade! Grenade!

00:49Fortunately, it didn't explode.

00:52But a few moments later, the police heard a gunshot.

00:59This is where a man with a gun appeared.

01:02When he sensed the police behind him,

01:04he went to the left and shot the arresting officer.

01:12When we heard the gunshot,

01:15we took a quick peek from the room we were in.

01:19We saw the man in the back.

01:22He was the only one facing us.

01:24When he was facing us, we took a quick peek.

01:26That's when the kid followed us.

01:28We were only 3 to 5 meters away from him.

01:33When we passed by him.

01:35It was very close.

01:36Yes sir, it was very close.

01:37The 30-year-old man was killed.

01:40He was one of the most wanted in Region 4A

01:42because he was hit by a criminal group operating in Laguna.

01:46When they saw that the grenade didn't explode,

01:49that's when the explosion came from our suspect.

01:55That's when the encounter happened.

01:57Our suspect has four warrants of arrest.

02:05Two murders and two attempted murders.

02:09Immediately, he was one of the gun for hire.

02:12The EOD of Calabarzon Police came to the scene

02:15to recover the grenade that didn't explode.

02:18They also found the gun used by the suspect in the shooting.

02:21The gun that the suspect used in the shooting

02:25was one of the weapons in the police examination.

02:27It was used in other shooting incidents in the region.
