00:00Someone sent their pubic hair.
00:17No, I don't remember that.
00:19Amazing.
00:20Photographs of her with her hamsters and then clicking.
00:27Oh, that was a long time ago.
00:35There are some unhinged people out there who, and in those days it wasn't, you know, now they would just go online and say something.
00:43But in those days they would write and they would send photographs of themselves and up to all sorts.
00:57It was really mostly positive, to be honest with you, it was mostly positive.
01:01There was a kind of hue.
01:02There was one particular time when someone was kind of getting a little bit too close to...
01:07Stalking.
01:08Stalking, you know.
01:09But listen, we got pretty easy.
01:11You know, that was one person out of thousands.
01:14And the amazing thing is we have made friends with some of these fans along the way who have been coming for years.
01:21And we're now, you know, we see them every tune.
01:27One of my best friends actually I saw for dinner recently was a guy called Jimmy.
01:33I should mention Jimmy Rice.
01:34He's a great friend.
01:36And he bought tickets for all his pals to come and see us supporting Benny King in Manchester.
01:42We were supporting Benny King.
01:431980 what?
01:44Seven.
01:45Seven.
01:46And then he and his friends would start coming like tiny gigs.
01:50There was no one there.
01:51There was like maybe 20 people there, kind of Huddersfield Polytechnic or something like that.
01:56And he and his pals would come.
01:57And they were the ones that all started singing back like loaded.
02:00Loaded was the first.
02:01It wasn't Dignity.
02:02I think it was Loaded.
02:03And, you know, we just became friends.
02:05We just became really good friends.
02:07So we're grateful for that.
02:09And we've got friends across the world as well that we've met, which has been lovely.
02:21.
