01:10The station building serves as a gateway to the town with a clock tower providing a focal

01:17There will be public toilets, staff facilities, a waiting room and provision for a cafe.
01:27Modifications to the railway infrastructure have been made to make the station operational
01:32for four trains per hour.
01:34This has included movement of existing signals which will allow trains to stop at the station,
01:39new overhead line equipment to carry the wires that power trains and track realignment works
01:43to provide space for accessible platforms and bridges.
01:53There will be two footbridges with lifts to provide step-free access between platforms.
01:58Platforms will have covered waiting shelters and include modern lighting, public address
02:03and CCTV systems.
02:05This will be partly powered by solar panels located on the building roof.
02:12Construction works have already commenced and will continue through to late 2026 for
02:16when Wixham station will be fully open to the public.
