00:10Edinburgh Police launch investigation after targeted attack involving firearm.
00:14Detectives in Edinburgh are appealing for information following a targeted attack in the Nidri area of the city.
00:20At around 3am on Thursday, March 20th, police were called to a property in Nidri Marischal Crescent,
00:26following reports of a possible firearm being discharged in the area.
00:30No one was injured during the incident.
00:32Officers said the incident may involve gangs actively targeting each other.
00:36And advised plain-clothed and uniformed officers will remain in the area during the investigation.
00:41Police inquiries remain ongoing, with officers checking CCTV and carrying out door-to-door inquiries.
00:47Detectives are also examining a white BMW, which was seen in the area and later discovered in Dalmany.
