00:00It's an intriguing one just because I don't think much was expected about either team
00:10coming into the season, yet they've both started pretty well. Wakefield have won away at Warrington
00:17and Leeds, they're yet to win at home but they've shown enough to suggest they can enjoy
00:21a strong season and obviously Hull going to Wigan and dumping them out of the Cup. No
00:25one saw that come in particular at half-time. You've got to get used to heightened expectations
00:32of both clubs, so it's interesting in that respect whether they can back up this week.
00:37Just to see where they're both at really. It'll be a good test for both sides coming
00:42off those wins.
00:43You can't look past Lewis Martin going to Wigan and scoring a hat-trick, a second-half
00:53hat-trick in an incredible comeback win. He showed all his talent in that second-half,
00:58especially the second try when he stood up to Bevin French and did him on the outside.
01:04Not many players do that to Bevin French, outpace him. So it was incredible and then
01:10obviously scoring the winning try late on as well, that'll live with him for a very
01:14long time and it'll give him incredible belief and Hull an enormous amount of belief as well
01:19as a team.
01:24The moment of the week is probably Lewis Martin again with that try when he stood up to Bevin
01:29French and did him on the outside. I don't think we'll see that again this season. It
01:34really did give Hull a lot of belief in that game and allowed them to score that late try
01:40which got them over the line. Not Wigan out of the Cup, blew the Cup wide open and showed
01:45that they are beatable. So Hull did a great service to the rest of the competition as
01:49well as themselves last weekend.
01:54I think you're looking at Leeds Rhinos and their response to getting knocked out of the
02:01Cup by St Helens and they were nil the week before at Catalan. So you need to look at
02:05them now. They've got Wigan at home, obviously a really difficult game. Wigan have got their
02:10own reasons to win, they'll be smarting from last week. But Leeds really need to put in
02:14a performance and ideally, to their sake, a win. But they're just showing the same signs
02:22they showed under Rowan Smith and that's quite concerning. So they do need to show they've
02:27got something about them. It's difficult, they've got a few spying players out. Andy
02:31Eckers is now on the sidelines with Cameron Smith. So it'll be tough for them. But they
02:35beat Wigan at the end of last season. They need to do it again to get the feel-good factor
02:40going ahead only because it's all doom and gloom at the moment and they need to change
02:44that quickly.
