00:00Let's get to our next game up. The 5-12 matchup in one that everybody loves to highlight from a
00:05potential upset perspective. In the Midwest region, Clemson is the 5 seed. Made it to the Elite 8
00:11a year ago against McNeese, the 12 seed. Into the big dance for a second consecutive year
00:17led by Will Wade. But we did get the news yesterday that Wade is heading to NC State.
00:23Do you think that factors at all DRS into your outlook for this game? The slight idea of
00:28distraction for the Cowboys and their head coach? It shouldn't, but in my mind it makes a big deal
00:34for me. Like, oh, you know, maybe I wanted to pull the upset from McNeese. Now let's see what
00:37Will Wade does. I hope they get beat by 40 points and everybody blames Will Wade for the loss because
00:41the team wasn't focused. I know you can't handicap or get into that. I'm pretty sure they're happy for
00:45Will Wade in their own way. But it's just, you know, taking that spotlight away when this could
00:48have waited just a few more days before he's out of there. Having said that though, once again,
00:52you're talking about lower level competition to McNeese. A very, very good basketball team though.
00:56But are they very, very good if they played in the ACC or the SEC at that point? Probably not.
01:02Understand this too. Clemson has an unbelievably good defensive footprint. The one thing that we
01:07do know also is McNeese plays defense, but again, against not like competition that Clemson has.
01:13The three-point game again is going to be big because Clemson likes to shoot it and McNeese
01:16will let you shoot that three-point shot. I do think Clemson wins in advances. I was higher on
01:21McNeese a couple days previous before actually getting into the numbers with a chance to pull
01:25off the upset, but I would be shocked if Clemson lost to McNeese again, who is a very good ball club.
