01:36So why is the peanut gallery bagging on Meghan's silly snack swap? Her choosing
01:41to elevate the store-bought treats using her famous calligraphy skills certainly didn't help.

01:52And the low-effort tip comes while all eyes are on Meghan to deliver a meaty

01:59So this underwhelming offering sure makes it look like Meg bit off more than she could chew.
02:04But her meal ticket is secure, so far, as Netflix announced they are releasing more
02:09episodes in the fall, despite critics eating her lunch with a host of harsh reviews,
02:13labeling the show queasy and exhausting and an exercise in narcissism.
02:18Director Michael Steed, meanwhile, has defended his star,
02:20telling People magazine that Meg's cooking is pretty spot-on, actually.
02:24While admitting she's not a chef and that his intention wasn't to make it seem like she was,
02:29but he insists that her love of cooking is palpable.
02:32So is Jimmy Fallon biting the hand that feeds by making pretzel-gate late-night TV fodder?
02:37The Daily Mail reports that Meghan was scheduled to appear on Fallon's show twice in 2022,
02:42but the death of the queen changed all that, so she's yet to appear ā and may never,
02:46considering Jimmy's recent snack-bag slight.
02:49But Prince Harry has paled around with Fallon in the past,
02:52appearing on The Tonight Show in September 2024, and not as just a regular guest.
