00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. approved a bill to declare Pampanga as the country's culinary capital.
00:08It was signed by Palace Press Officer, Atty. Claire Castro, who said that the bill could result in discrimination,
00:16especially since each place in the country has its own origin.
00:20Former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo also approved the bill,
00:24saying that the local communities will benefit from the increase of tourists and economic growth.
00:33If a region is chosen as the most delicious, the best, and the most beautiful,
00:42other people, especially those who want to go to the Philippines,
00:50may think of only one region that they can go to,
00:55and say that it is the best and most delicious local food.
