00:00The TD and Writers Room, as always, is brought to you by the Pennsylvania Horse Breeders Association, the PHBA.
00:05I was a big fan last year before the Breeders' Cup turf sprint of a filly by the name of Roses for Deborah.
00:11I thought she had a great chance to win.
00:14She finished 9th of 12 in there.
00:16But the Pennsylvania bred Roses for Deborah bounced back in a big way this past weekend at Canelon,
00:22winning her first start since the Breeders' Cup, the Grade 3 Giants Causeway Stakes.
00:26It was her fourth stakes win, second integrated stakes.
00:28Trainer Christophe Clement says Roses for Deborah will head next to either the Intercontinental in Grade 2 against fillies and mares,
00:35or against the boys again, maybe, in the Grade 1 Jiper.
00:39Both of those races are during the Belmont Stakes Festival, which this year will be at Saratoga.
00:44Meanwhile, over to Laurel. Disco Emo led wire to wire in the $100,000 Prima Neta stakes.
00:53The five-year-old mare is now a stakes winner at age 2, 3, 4, and 5.
00:58Isn't that cool? So to become a Pennsylvania breeder of a horse like Disco Emo and eligible for a piece of $30 million in breeders incentives,
01:06you can go to PABRED.com or you can do it the old-fashioned way and call 610.
01:14Wait, there's more numbers. That's the area code.
01:16444-1050. 610-444-1050.
01:21The state of Pennsylvania has the best breeders program in the entire United States.
01:27When you buy a yearling, it's a little bit like buying a lottery ticket,
01:29and we are trying to provide the lottery ticket that the likelihood is to hit the jackpot.
01:35Angel of Empire wins the Arkansas Derby and wins it clear.
01:39Uncle Heavy laid it's a photo finish!
01:43Pennsylvania and the PHBA have the best state-fed program in the country bar none.
01:48The winner, Uncle Heavy. He's a three-year-old bred in Pennsylvania.
