00:00And at this point, we will discuss an update on the programs of the current administration here in Mr. President on the go.

00:23First, Executive Secretaries of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization, courtesy call to President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. in Malacanang.

00:34Our President is in Malacanang with Director Dr. Robert Floyd, the Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization.

00:45At the last meeting, our President reiterated the position of the Philippines in the fight against the spread of nuclear weapons.

00:53He emphasized that no one should be affected by a nuclear war.

00:57He said, a world free from nuclear threat is a safer home for all.

01:02The Philippines signed the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty or CTBT on September 24, 1996 and ratified on February 23, 2001.

01:14The Philippines is the third Southeast Asian nation to ratify the treaty.

01:21The CTBT prohibits all nuclear weapon test explosions and other nuclear explosions anywhere in the world.

01:29In addition to the courtesy call, the Philippines was recognized by the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization for its contributions to the fight for peace and security.

01:41CTBT-O's Executive Secretary Robert Floyd recognized the high quality of data gathering and scientific monitoring of Filipino scientists.

01:52Dr. Floyd also told President Marcos, Jr. that the Filipinos are excellent in their work and have a great contribution to global peace and security

02:01by providing consistent, good, high-quality data that they collect in Vienna.

02:08These data are being distributed to all 187 countries that signed the treaty.

02:14And that is our update this morning.
