00:00The reason we're here today is obviously, behind us you can see the green fence, which
00:05is really a safeguarding issue that the school has had recently due to building work that's
00:14commencing on the new Aldi site, which has created a safeguarding issue, which is obviously
00:20safeguarding is critical to the school and we make sure, Helen as the head teacher, we
00:26make sure that all of our children are safe all the time. We've seeked local support on
00:33this, unfortunately that wasn't very forthcoming, however Aldi have stepped into the breach
00:39and Aldi have visited the school and they're working closely with Helen and myself as the
00:44chair of the governors and they have resolved the situation, which is fantastic for the
00:50school but more importantly fantastic for the safeguarding of our children at Redhall
00:55Primary School and I can't thank them enough. I'd like to say thank you Aldi for providing
01:00us with a lovely safe space so our children can continue their activities in peace and
01:06safety is kept as a priority for us.
