00:00In the latest edition of our first crop yearling sire previews, we visited Audible, a grade
00:07one winning son of Intimisschiff who stands at Windstar Farm.
00:11Liam O'Rourke tells us about his progeny that sold at the Fasig-Tipton July sale, and
00:16we stopped by to visit a few of his yearlings preparing to go through the ring in Saratoga.
00:22Audible being a son of Intimisschiff, Intimisschiff's been such a great stallion to so many people
00:27and we think that Audible is among the very best of the physicals by Intimisschiff.
00:34Right from the get go, it was very positive on Audible, the buzz around town.
00:39He was the most popular first year stallion ever at Windstar Farm.
00:45His first crop, he has over roughly 160 live foals in his first crop and demand for him
00:53has just been strong, extremely strong through all three years he's been here.
00:59First crop, weanlings were received very well.
01:02He was the number two freshman sire by average last year and he had 16 six-figure weanlings
01:11at Keeneland November.
01:13He's already off to an excellent start with his yearlings this year, again sitting at
01:19number two by average.
01:20He had seven of his nine at July, realized six figures or greater.
01:27Audible does have seven entered in Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Select, so that's more than any other
01:33freshman sire.
01:34We think that's a great sign and then he follows that up with nine in the New York Bread Sale
01:38and then he'll have a big, high quality group in September.
01:43Mokma Hall, our farm, has a share in Audible, so we've supported him from the get go.
01:48I was a big fan of him as a racehorse and obviously Windstar has an incredible track
01:53record making stallions.
01:55This filly we actually purchased privately of Teresa Little's farm, bred and raised her.
02:01She has just completely gone the right way.
02:03I mean she's big and fancy and two-turn, but she looks like she has speed and she's got
02:08a classy brain and I'm honestly thrilled to be with her, I really am.
02:14She vets, she walks, she's correct, she's big and pretty.
02:18You know, the kind of the type of horse we really like to take to Saratoga, the more
02:22you look at them, the more you like them and she has that kind of personality to go along
02:26with that.
02:28We have a Sundown Audible colt going to Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Select sale.
02:35We like him an awful lot.
02:37Audible added a lot of size and range and scope to Sundown mare and he's certainly one
02:44of her bigger foals.
02:47He's tall, lots of leg, great length, very nice mover and great temperament.
02:55We like him a lot.
02:56They're a very consistent group.
03:00You know, he throws great substance, plenty of length, great quality, good bone.
03:07Just a really, you know, kind of a robust, muscular type, but with lots of length that
03:12look like they can stretch out.
03:14He was a precocious horse.
03:16He was really good at the two-year-old sale, breezed really fast and then went out and,
03:22you know, performed as a two-year-old on the racetrack.
03:25So I think there's gonna be that precocity there.
03:27I think the sire line has precocity to it, but just the way he's built, I think they
03:32are probably built to carry that speed around a ground, go around two turns with their length,
03:41but do so, you know, in a front-running type of fashion.
