00:00Hello, my name is Hazeem, the owner of the London Express L95 London Road.
00:07They are proposing to put a bicycle ramp here and removing my two parking spaces.
00:15If that's implemented, that will affect our deliveries and customer access.
00:20We've been giving great service to the locals.
00:24They're going to lose their access.
00:27We have a post office here, which we do all the banking.
00:33As you probably know, most of the banks in town centre are closed.
00:39They rely on this location and use us heavily.
00:44If that is implemented, then we wouldn't be able to get any deliveries.
00:49The lorries can't stop. We wouldn't be able to get a food full and a customer.
00:53I'm afraid it's going to go to closure.
00:57I will ask West Sussex County Council to reconsider this issue and support us.
01:06The proposed cycle line starting from the top by the roundabout
01:12and going all the way down to the Fairfield Road, which is only about 200-300 metres.
01:19I don't see a point of that. What's the benefit to the cyclists going such a short distance?
01:25And the disruption it causes for the public and affect it on the shop,
01:29which will have to close because our parking space has to be removed.
01:35Buses stop to be added on just after the shop.
01:41So I don't see it's going to work.
01:44I'd like to thank all the councillors from all the parties which they have come and support us
01:49and especially the local residents which they all support us.
01:53I'd like to add on the petition going online.
01:57If you'd be able to support us, we'd be most grateful.
02:01There's a hard copy in the shop. If you can't go online, please do come in the shop and support us.
