00:00Now, here is the NIT bracket. Now, look, I know that this is going to be tough because we've got
00:06every single team here on the bracket. But I will tell you some of the highlights. SMU is a one seed
00:12in the Dallas region. Dayton is a one seed in one quadrant. The Anteaters, UC Irvine are a one,
00:21and the Dons of San Francisco are a one. Now, you're probably saying, Scotty, those are the
00:26one seeds in the NIT. Well, I'm going to tell you in a minute why, but there's your NIT bracket.
00:32Well, there you go. Look, so I've always liked basketball, so I'm all for it. I like the NIT.
00:40I like the crown. I like the basketball tournament. I like CBI, CIT, Maui. You know,
00:50I don't care what it is. If there's college basketball and they're playing tournament
00:55games one and done, I'm all for it. People have been making fun of the NIT for years, and
01:03I've never really quite understood it. I think it's fun, and I think, you know, there's really
01:08good games. And, you know, these kids want to play ball. They go to play college ball. They want to
01:14play in bowl games. They want to play in tournament basketball games, whether it's the NIT or otherwise.
01:20And then I think it's hilarious that these schools turn their nose like Indiana on
01:28the NIT. You know what? Indiana is no better than the NIT as far as you can spit.
01:35They, I mean, they can't even make the NCAA tournament anymore. It goes year after year
01:39after year, and they turn their nose on the NIT like they're special. How many times do I have
01:45to say this? Indiana basketball is broken. Blue blood my ass. They haven't mattered since Bob
01:55Knight. And Mike Woodson didn't matter either. I'm telling you, it's just been one hack coach
02:03after the next, including him. I mean, he looks like he's 95 years old. He's wearing sketchers,
02:10for Christ's sakes, on the bench. I mean, honestly, he can barely walk. They sit him down on a pillow
02:15the size of Nevada on his chair. Have you ever seen it? He sits on the slow bus pillow. I mean,
02:21honest to Christ, can Indiana do anything right? They turn their nose on the NIT. It's embarrassing.
02:28Go play basketball somewhere. You can't make the big dance. Go to the Little Sock Hop, you losers.
02:37Might as well. Now, the reason I was saying to you the bigger names also,
02:42big conferences, Fox came up with this, the Crown Championship, the Crown College Basketball
02:49Crown, which is going to be played in Vegas. Now, this is not until Final Four week. So after we get
02:56the Final Four in the big tournament, that Monday, four games in Vegas, Utah against Butler, George
03:02Washington-Boise, Nebraska-Arizona State, Georgetown against Washington State. Then that Tuesday in
03:08Vegas to Paul Cincinnati, Beavers-UCF, Colorado-Villanova, Tulane-USC. Then they'll play Tuesday
03:14night, Wednesday night, Thursday night. They're going to play the semis before the Final Four
03:19games that Saturday and the championship Sunday after that. So lots of games that week in Vegas,
03:25that whole week. Well, and the championship on Sunday with the title game in the NCAA on Monday
03:30night. It's smart and it's cool and it sounds fun to me. And I bet those kids will love Vegas and
03:37have a blast. And I think some of those teams are going to be fun to watch. I think it's a great idea.
