00:00So now, of course, in the West region, everyone is talking about the Florida Gators, coach,
00:05because they win the SEC. And, you know, they've jumped into contention maybe to win this
00:10championship. In the last month, they've been one of the hottest teams in college basketball.
00:14They're huge favorites over Norfolk State. St. John's is the two in that region. We've got Texas
00:18Tech, UConn, and Missouri. But, you know, I'm not really sure who the Gators may end up playing
00:23if they win, let's just say, a game or two, because these point spreads are a lot closer.
00:27UConn, four and a half against Oklahoma. Missouri, six and a half over Drake.
00:32Well, if you look at this top half of the region, folks, Florida
00:35played better than anyone this entire weekend, what they did in the SEC tournament, right?
00:39But that 8-9 game is intriguing with UConn, you know, two-time defending national championship,
00:45won every game the last two NCAA runs by double digits. You know, you look at Ball and McNeely.
00:51It's, to me, the play of Caravan, Johnson, and Dior, the experienced guys for Dan Hurley,
00:56can they turn it around because they are dangerous. Colorado State is a 12-seed,
01:00actually a favorite over the 5-seed Memphis. They won eight games in a row. They're playing
01:04fantastic basketball. You go to that bottom half of the draw. Drake is one team I like to upset
01:09with the 11-6 versus Missouri. They play really great defense. Missouri's going to run. They
01:16throw the ball around the gym. Drake really good at stealing and securing the ball. I think that
01:21could be an upset. But then you get to that bottom half in Providence. Oh my lord, oh my lord.
01:27Rick Pitino, Bill Self, and John Calipari, all in that bottom half of that draw. One of those two
01:36teams between Kansas and Arkansas will face off versus a St. John's team that's playing really
01:41great basketball. Now here's the key. They're in Providence. That should help them. They may have
01:46to go out west for the 2016 Elite 8, but the play of R.J. Lewis, the play of Ekafor, but to me,
01:54it's Qadari Richmond. The Swiss Army Knife has been absolutely fantastic. Remember folks,
02:00they shoot the ball only 32% from three, but only two teams in the last 25 years
02:05has gone to a Final Four and shot under 33% from the three-point line. Folks, it's Rick Pitino's
02:13two Louisville teams and this St. John's team mirrors that kind of team.
