The assistant headteacher at the Jack Draper's childhood school says his tennis talents were visible at from eight-years-old. Alex Gainer from Parkside School in Cobham adds that from "minute one" Draper was "so determined" and "wanted to win every point". His comments come after Draper claimed the biggest title of his career so far, defeating Denmark's Holger Rune in the Indian Wells final. Report by Brooksl. 00:00So Jack was here from about six years of age and his talent was obvious very very early.
00:05I remember him in year three which is eight years old and you could clearly see he was
00:10a talented talented boy just in that young age and was already competing around the world.
00:14It was that determination he had it from minute one so determined wanted to win every point
00:19wouldn't let any point go especially playing his brother or older boys who would never ever
00:24let anything go and you could clearly see the way he hit the ball he hit the ball so hard and so
00:29flat from such a young age that all the others found it impossible to return. He's shown over
00:34the last sort of couple of years that he can harm any player he's beat Sinner he's beat Alcaraz
00:40twice now and once on a huge stage definitely grand slam and probably multiple.
