00:13With the May 2025 national elections fast approaching, the electorate is again faced
00:19with one of the most important decisions that affect their lives, the selection of worthy
00:24candidates to lead the country.
00:27So what's the pulse of our countrymen and their standards in selecting candidates to
00:31vote for right now?
00:33In the latest pre-election senatorial preferential survey of Tangire, several administrations
01:00leads are in the lead pack.
01:03Erwin and Ben Tulfo are both in the first place.
01:06Also in the top 12 and top 13 are Tito Soto, Bong Revilla Jr., Pia Cayetano, Benhur Abalos,
01:13Manny Pacquiao, Lito Lapid, and Ping Lakson.
01:17Based on the survey, some of the important characteristics of the candidate that voters
01:22are looking for are honesty, reliability, integrity, and God-fearing, education, employment
01:30and food security are the most important matters voters consider in choosing their
01:35candidates, while social media is still the people's main source for information on the
01:41candidates.
01:42The survey was conducted from March 11 to March 14 on 2,400 participants from different
01:49parts of the Philippines through a mobile-based respondent application.
01:53The survey has a 1.96 margin of error.
