00:00So Jack, congratulations. How does it feel to get a Derby double?
00:03Yeah, it's really good. It's a good performance from the lads today.
00:07It was a scrappy game, you know, the last 10 minutes always is going to be
00:10in them type of matches, but we've seen the game out and got the three points in the end.
00:14How do you do it? So many games this year, you just find a way to get the result, don't you?
00:18Yeah, it's one of our key aspects is seeing our games like that.
00:24You know, the lads have really dug in well and they understand the championship,
00:27they took it on board really well because, you know, championship is one of the hardest
00:31leagues out there. You know, you've got games like that, Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday.
00:34So, as I can say, you know, well done to them.
00:37They've put themselves in this position with performances like that throughout the season.
00:42Sheffield United haven't won six straight away games since 1893.
00:47So it's a bit of time since that happened, Jack.
00:50This team have been able to put something together pretty special away from home,
00:54haven't they, this year?
00:55Yeah, I think we are top of the league for away points.
00:58And we didn't realise that it was five in a row we'd won away when it was QPR.
01:02So obviously six today as well.
01:04And as I say, all credit to the lads, you know, it's on them as well.
01:08They've worked really hard to put themselves in this position.
01:11And as I say, it is such a tough league.
01:14It's such tough, tough games away from home.
01:16And we always say, you know, if you can win your home games and you can get results away from home,
01:20they're obviously what get you promoted.
01:22But we seem to be doing better away from home than we are at home.
01:28So we've been getting them points out of the season and it's helped us massively.
01:32How good's your goalkeeper?
01:34Yeah, he's top class, isn't he?
01:37Saved us again there at the end with a really good save from Johnson in the last couple of minutes.
01:42And it's been like that all season.
01:44So it's nice as a defender to have someone that confident behind you.
01:48Are you pleased with Rhian Brewster as well?
01:50Because he's had to go through a lot over the years to score the winner in a derby at Hillsborough.
01:54Will it be big for him?
01:55Yeah, I mean, it was almost like a blessing that it's fell to Rhian there.
02:00You know, he was probably more up for the game than anyone else.
02:03I know there's a bit of history that he's got there.
02:06So all made up for him.
02:09He deserves it.
02:10He's worked really hard.
02:11He's had some terrible injuries over the years and he's put himself in this position.
02:14And he's a really, really good, hard-working lad and he deserves all the credit he gets.
02:18We're going to talk to the manager in a moment about the scenes at the end.
02:21The emotion of Chris Wilder brandishing a George Baldock shirt.
02:26Everybody having a photo with it.
02:27He was waving the shirt in the air to the Sheffield United fans.
02:31How big a moment was that for you all after the game?
02:34Yeah, you know, we've had that shirt up all season.
02:37We've remembered George, obviously.
02:39You know, he was a big part of my life for nearly five years.
02:42And it was really tough to take when I found out that news.
02:45And, you know, he's always with us in games like that
02:47because he's the type of person that would have absolutely loved playing in them games.
02:50And it's that spirit that we need to take in.
02:53And we have done and we've proved it.
02:55And, you know, I'm sure he'd be proud of us for performances like that.
02:58Jack, finally, looking at the table.
03:00This was a big win for that as well, wasn't it?
03:02Not just about getting the Derby win,
03:03but also increasing that pressure on the other teams that you're chasing for promotion
03:07or were chasing with you to get automatic promotion.
03:09Yeah, I think that puts us level on points with Leeds.
03:13Obviously, we've had that point deduction.
03:14So that's a bit of a disappointment.
03:16We would have been two points ahead.
03:17But, you know, we'll take all we can get at this stage of the season.
03:21We've got a nice little break now.
03:22Go away from here, work hard and come back again on the Friday night.
03:25Jack, appreciate your time.
03:26Well done.
