00:05since Trump has been back in office amounts to a total betrayal. He's already

00:36utmost gratitude. Instead, Trump and Musk are giving them the middle finger. Cadet

00:41Bonesburgs may like to wrap himself in the flag with one hand, but with the

00:45other he's signing off on the orders that sell out our veterans to line

00:47billionaires pockets, and our warriors deserve better. That is one reason why

00:52I'm urging my colleagues to vote yes on my Protect Veterans' Jobs Act, a simple

00:57amendment that would reinstate every veteran who's been fired because of

01:00Trump and Musk's betrayal. If Republicans actually care about our veterans like

01:04they claim to on Fox News, then they will vote yes on this bill and help give our

01:08veterans their jobs back. Otherwise, they're making it clear that they would

01:12rather bow down at the open conversation than stand up for our heroes.

01:18Senator from Montana. Mr. President, where was the Democrat outrage when 8,000 active duty

01:23reserve troops were unceremoniously and with no due process fired out of the

01:27military without benefits? Where was the outrage when thousands of

01:30first responders, police officers, firefighters, nurses, and doctors lost

01:35their employment because they had COVID vaccine hesitancy? There was no

01:38outrage. There was no call to betrayal under President Biden when all that

01:42happened. The truth is this bill is pro-veteran. It adds six billion dollars

01:46to our veteran spending. It has the largest pay increase for our warfighters

01:49in a generation. This is a pro-veteran bill. Let's stop using veterans as

01:53political pawns and keep the government funded. I yield.
