00:00Eddie Howe knows the significance of this game. He can sit and talk about taking a game by game, but in his mind as well, this has got to be in the back of your mind, everything you do in selection, everything you do, even picking Nick Pope for example, everything you do has to be with the view of the Cowboy World Cup finalists.
00:20Because it means so much. Newcastle haven't won a trophy for so long. It's literally all that matters. We go to Wembley this weekend and it's like life or death to us. It's life or death to Newcastle United. Whereas Liverpool, I feel like it's more of a bonus. They've got the Premier League title in the bag, they're going to qualify for the Champions League, they won the Carabao Cup last year, they don't need a Carabao Cup. Newcastle United need a Carabao Cup and Eddie Howe knows that. Eddie Howe could be the man that is the first manager on since 69.
00:49Eddie Howe definitely knows what it means. He was speaking quite passionately about everything. He could be the first Newcastle manager since Joe Harvey in 1969 to win a major trophy for Newcastle United.
