00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the ninth leg of campaign rally of the

00:04Alianza para sa Bago Pilipinas coalition in Tacloban City Leyte earlier

00:09today. The admin vets are hopeful that voters will look beyond political

00:13affiliations when casting their votes in the 2025 midterm elections and stress

00:18the importance of evaluating candidates based on their competence and

00:22qualifications rather than the party colors. PTV's Mena Lesmora has the details.

00:29In front of thousands of Filipinos in Tacloban City Leyte, President Ferdinand R.

00:35Marcos Jr. proudly campaigned for the administration's senatorial vets during

00:39the Alianza para sa Bago Pilipinas grand campaign rally. In his speech, the chief

00:45executive highlighted that their team is on the right path. That's why our

00:48countrymen should vote for them.

00:59On crimes and illegal drugs, President R. Marcos Jr. reiterated that it's best to have it bloodless as much as possible.

01:30In a press conference earlier, Alianza campaign manager representative Toby

01:35Tsiangko said their candidates will continue to focus on their platforms and

01:39goals for the country amid the issues on the arrest of former President Rodrigo

01:43Duterte due to crimes against humanity.

01:59For her part, Alianza candidate Mayor Abby Binay urged voters to look beyond political affiliations of candidates and instead focus on what they can do as senators.

02:19Her teammates in Alianza also agreed with this.

02:22Yes, we are part of the administration, but we are individuals in a group.

02:30So, to the voters, we're not talking about if you're pro-Marcos or pro-Duterte,

02:39if you're pink, if you're yellow, if you're green, if you're red.

02:43At the end of the day, what we want, and Sen. Erwin is right,

02:49what can we give to our fellow countrymen?

02:55People's minds are hot, but I hope we can give the ICC a chance,

03:03so that we know that there will be justice.

03:06They're not saying that he's guilty. That's why there's a trial.
