00:00You all did test yourselves with a tough non-conference schedule early in the year,
00:03a couple of top 25 teams.
00:05How did that sort of tough strength of schedule,
00:08how do you feel that's prepared the team for the coming weeks?
00:11Yeah, I think it's gonna help as we go into next week, wherever we go,
00:16whoever we play, I don't think we'll be overwhelmed.
00:20Now, they may be a lot better, which obviously you're gonna play a top 15,
00:24top 20 team.
00:25I mean, we're gonna be a match for sure, but
00:28it's not like we hadn't gone into those environments.
00:30I know the NCAA tournament, it's not like we haven't played that level of team.
00:33We played pretty well at Arkansas and gave a shot at chance.
00:37We went to Kentucky and then they got us good, they popped us good,
00:40they played great, and it wasn't our best night.
00:42But I told our guys after the game, I said, that's a chance for
00:45us to feel like what it looks like to play against an NCAA tournament team.
00:49This is what a first round game will look like.
00:52And so now we have to go from this day forward and get better and
00:55try if we're fortunate enough to get a chance to get to play.
00:58But now we have a better idea of what it's gonna look like.
01:01So we have an older team, we have a lot of these guys have played,
01:05we play five by games a year.
01:07So we've gone a lot of different places to play.
01:10And we've been fortunate, we won at Florida State last year,
01:12we won at Louisville the year before, we won at Dayton, we lost by Notre Dame.
01:17We've won at Duke this year, which was a by game.
01:19So we've had some success in those games, but
01:23we know this is gonna be another step up for sure.
