00:00Jerelle's had a little bit of an up-and-down season,
00:05but when he's come on for you and done a job at right-back,
00:08he seems to adapt to you quite well.
00:11Now he's got an England call-up, what does that say about his attitude and the way he's applied himself?
00:18It says a lot about his mentality, so last season I think everybody saw what a talent he is.
00:26The season started with him starting, and I changed him, as we all know,
00:30against Ipswich, and Ibu and Virgil were and are such a strong combination
00:35that he didn't play a lot, but every time he had to play,
00:38except maybe for the first one or two games,
00:40but afterwards every time he had to play everybody could see that maybe he's no longer a talent,
00:45because as a talent you don't have any setbacks,
00:47but the moment you get setbacks it's about you and how you react.
00:50I think he showed in his recent performances that he outgrew being called a talent,
00:57and that's probably what Thomas Tuchel saw and sees as well,
01:01by calling him up, by giving him a call-up, I think that's better to say.
01:06And he did really well the last few times he had to play for us,
01:10and even on a position he's not completely used to as a right-back,
01:15but in my opinion he also has the qualities to play in that position.
01:19He's strong, he's fast, he's very comfortable with the ball,
01:23and it gives us an extra quality if we play him, which we saw in terms of set-pieces,
01:29because he was the one that was this far away from us qualifying for the next round
01:33by having the ball on the post, because that one was not offside.
01:37So, yeah, he showed mentality and that he had quality,
01:41that's already what we knew when we saw him playing last season.
