Après être devenu un véritable héros de blockbuster dans DIE HART, Kevin Hart veut maintenant consolider sa légende en tant que plus grande star d'action de tous les temps. Kevin a donc imaginé le concept d'un film révolutionnaire où lui-même ignore ce que lui réserve l'intrigue. Mais le plan de Kevin n'est pas sans faille et il devient bientôt la cible d'une vengeance diabolique. S'il veut survivre, Kevin devra demander l'aide de sa partenaire à l'écran, d'un assistant un peu trop enthousiaste et d'un cascadeur légendaire d'Hollywood.
